Safeguarding & Grievance Policy

Last updated: 5 August 2026. SongaOne is committed to protecting the people and communities we serve.

1. Purpose

This policy explains how SongaOne prevents harm, responds to safeguarding concerns and handles grievances raised by community members, partners or users.

2. What is safeguarding?

Safeguarding means protecting children, adults and communities from abuse, exploitation, harassment and discrimination. It applies to everyone who uses or is affected by the platform.

3. Reporting a concern

Concerns can be raised through the platform’s grievance form, a community coordinator or directly by contacting us. Reports can be anonymous.

4. How we respond

Every concern is logged, triaged and assigned to a trained responder. We aim to acknowledge reports within 24 hours and close or escalate them according to a documented procedure.

5. Grievances

If you disagree with a prioritisation decision, project outcome or conduct issue, you can raise a grievance. The workspace or tenant will review the record and respond in writing.

6. No retaliation

We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a safeguarding concern or grievance in good faith.

7. Contact

To raise a safeguarding concern, contact your community coordinator or use the contact form.
